Oscar is passionate about the patient-centered care approach of the Eclectic Triphasic Medical System (ETMS) and has been practicing this way since 2011.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia in Nutrition Science with a minor in Anthropology focused on Traditional Medicine. Oscar has completed over 3,000 hours of hands-on training and passed national board exams to earn Board Certifications in both Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture. Alongside continued education in Chinese Medicine, he actively studies the biomedical and systems engineering aspects of Functional Medicine and Wholistic Oncology.

Oscar's background in martial arts - where discernment, balance, and pressure point precision are central - offered a natural path into acupuncture and the Medical Arts. The foundational principles he learned early on - Balance, Yin & Yang, Meridians, Qi, Flow, and the 5 Elements - remain integral to his healing philosophy today.

In addition to his clinical work, Oscar is a founding collaborator of MOJO Health Information, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing public access to integrative health education and resources. Through this work, he brings together clinical insight, patient empowerment, and educational outreach.

At his full-time private practice in Sandy Springs, Georgia, Oscar can often be found compounding custom herbal formulas for patients or giving impromptu educational talks in the lobby. In his free time, he enjoys mountain biking, playing music, going on herb walks with the Georgia Herbalists Guild or Mushroom Club of Georgia, and presenting at community health events. He has been professionally serving the Atlanta area since 2008.
